BANANA BREAD!

recipe;
270g sort light brown sugar
2 eggs
200g banana (approx 2)
280g plain flour
1 tsp baking powder/bicarb of soda
1 tsp cinnamon
140g butter/margerine
few drops vanilla essence

1. whisk eggs, mash banana. mix together flour, sugar, eggs, baking powder, cinnamon & margerine.

2. add eggs & banana. grease a loaf tin.

3. bake on gas mark 3 on the bottom shelf for approx 1 hour, or til a skewer comes out clean.
(it really did take a LONG time to cook, i made 2 small ones and the one i did at gm3/bottom shelf turned out perfect!)

Comments

i will totally try this out this weekend! attempted to bake some a while ago and it didn't rise!
problem is the oven is being so lame! not even cookies come out right! =[
still this looks delish! XD
it's super dense, so the baking powder helps it rise!
i think some ovens can be difficult though.
you could put chocolate chips in too, yum.
let me know how it goes :)
